The area can be reached by car and includes the michelin star "Restaurante Mirador San Pedro" ,car parking areas, children’s playground, picnic areas, a maze with italian plants, duckpond and there's a hall exhibiting military objects.

The views from Monte San Pedro of the city, its bay and the open Atlantic Ocean are spectacular.

The second landmark is close to the Tower of Hercules, the only working roman lighthouse in the world and World Heritage Site. There are great views of the Tower and Atlantic Ocean and the surrounding area is a Sculpture Park with scenic coastal paths  .

Then a  nice walk along the paseo maritimo towards the centre of the city will lead to San Antón Castle originally built in the 16th century to protect the city at the entrance to the Bay of  La Coruña. Here there is also a museum about Galician history and archaeology.
